Missed Period but negative test result.?

ok..so im a bit confused and need some light shed on my situation...im officially 3 days late..i had taken a pregnancy test when i was 1 day late and it cme back negtive..im thinking im not pregnant becase it seems i did not hav unprotected sex on my ovulation day..by the looks at the days i had a slvp up 3-4 days after ovulation..i wvll give dates because i am just learning the whole ovulation thing thanks to google. My first day of my last period was june20th..it lasted 6 days..i am on a 28 day cycle..my luteal phase is 12 days..the ovulation calendar i looked at said that my fertile days were between july 2nd and 7th..most fertile day..ovulation day was the 6th..my slip up was on the 9th..3 days after ovulation..like v savd the odds seemed to be stacked against being pregnant..but my period still hasnt come and there was a negatie result..i had cramps for a fw days know..my breasts were tender the day before my pervod would start..which is normal before periods..what vm getting at vs why the cramps..no period..and a negatie result? is there a chance i still could be pregnant?
The only best way you can find out if when you are ovulating is buying an ovulation kit but use it only after you have had a period for accuracy . All women are different and do not ovulate the way some sites state.. some women do ovulate much later after they have had their periods some right after.. some before. You stated you did not have intercourse on the day you ovulated but keep in mind that sperm last up to 5 days in the vagina so if you had sex 4 days before you ovulated there is a chance the sperm is lingering around waiting for the egg to arrive to fertilize.

Those sites are not thoroughly accurate at determining your ovulation days.. only you can determine by keeping an eye on your discharge which seem to be like egg whites during the time you are ovulating... also with the use of an ovulation kit you can accurately pin point your ovulating days which may be very different from what sites say.

Wait a week before retesting.. you period may be changing it
